For an average Central Texas home (about 20 to 30 squares), a standard architectural shingle roof is typically $9,500 to $15,000, and a Class 4 impact-resistant roof is typically $11,000 to $17,000. How much does a roof repair cost?
Most repairs (leaks, flashing, missing shingles) run about $300 to $1,500. We confirm the price after a free inspection.

Is the inspection really free?
Yes. We inspect your roof, photograph what we find, and explain your options. There's no cost and no pressure.

What do I get from the inspection?
A photo report of your roof's condition that you keep. It shows exactly what we saw and is useful for insurance too.
Storms, hail and insurance
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes. We do a free storm inspection with photos, tell you honestly whether it's worth filing, and meet your adjuster on the roof to show them the damage we documented.
How do I know if hail hit my house?
Hail damage often isn't visible from the ground. Check NOAA hail records for your address free at dkdroofing.com/hail-check, then book a free storm inspection to be sure.
Will you cover or waive my deductible?
No. Texas law doesn't allow a roofer to pay, waive or rebate an insurance deductible, and we follow it.
Will a new roof lower my insurance?
It can. Texas requires insurers to offer a premium discount for Class 4 impact-resistant roofs. Ask your carrier for their exact amount; we provide the documentation they need.
Shingles and warranty
Which shingles do you install?
Both GAF and Owens Corning: GAF Timberline HDZ and Timberline AS II (Class 4), and Owens Corning Duration and Duration FLEX (Class 4). We recommend what fits your home and budget.
What warranty do you offer?
Every DKD roof includes our own 5-year workmanship warranty. Your shingles also carry the manufacturer's limited warranty; coverage and terms are set by each manufacturer.
Do you install metal roofs?
Yes: standing seam metal roofs and metal buildings, new installs, repairs and replacements.
Do you do commercial roofing?
Yes, including TPO, with minimal disruption to your business.
Financing
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through Service Finance and Foundation Finance, with low monthly payment options. We go over the options with you at your estimate.
Roof rejuvenation
What is roof rejuvenation?
Fresh Roof is a plant-based (soy) treatment that restores dried-out asphalt shingles. Fresh Roof says it adds up to about 6 years of life per treatment, at about 20% of the cost of a replacement, and most homes take 1 to 2 hours.
How much does rejuvenation cost?
About $95 to $115 per square, roughly $2,000 to $3,500 for many Austin homes. It's confirmed after a free inspection.
Is my roof a good fit for rejuvenation?
Usually if it's asphalt shingle, about 7 to 25 years old, dry or faded but still sound, with no active leaks. Not a fit for metal, tile or flat roofs, widespread cracking or missing shingles, soft decking, active leaks, or storm damage that needs a repair or claim. We'll tell you straight at the free inspection.

I have solar panels. Can you still replace my roof?
